Following a successful VC round led by a top industry player, Jotit is experiencing rapid growth. We're growing our sales team, seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Account Executive to join our talented team to help further accelerate our growth in the US K-12 space.
The Role
As an Account Executive, you'll be pivotal in building strategic partnerships with K-12 school districts in various territories. You'll leverage your deep understanding of the education landscape and your proven track record of success in EdTech sales to secure district-wide deployments of Jotit, positively impacting the learning experience of thousands of students.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target and acquire K-12 school districts
- Prospect, qualify and build strong relationships with key decision-makers at the district level, including superintendents, curriculum directors, and technology leadership
- Deliver compelling presentations showcasing the unique value proposition of Jotit and its impact on student engagement and learning outcomes
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with school districts
- Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, etc.) to ensure a seamless sales cycle and exceptional customer experience
- Develop and maintain an updated understanding of the K-12 education landscape, relevant trends, and competitor solutions
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in selling into schools and school districts.
- Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions to K-12 school districts.
- Strong understanding of the current K-12 education landscape, key challenges, and technology adoption trends
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with educators and administrators
- Demonstrated ability to navigate the complex decision-making process within school districts effectively
- High level of self-motivation, drive, and a results-oriented mindset
- Understanding of what it is like to work for a startup company
Additional Requirements
- Willingness and availability to travel substantially within the US
- Location on the East Coast is a plus
